Tell the President

The recently updated Big Book of Safety, a clearinghouse for Nevada’s traffic safety-related projects and programs, is available for viewing and download.

The document is a quick-access reference tool for agencies and the public to use for research, contact information, and details on Nevada’s traffic safety initiatives. Access it on our Materials page.

HISTORIC NEWS

2007-2008
Over the past several months, focus groups, workshops, and myriad other events regarding the Nevada SHSP have been held throughout the state. Concerned citizens, young drivers, communication specialists, and transportation and safety experts have come together to provide valuable input for the Nevada SHSP and potential marketing messages to help achieve our goal of saving 100 lives in 2008.

2005-2007
Transportation safety advocates throughout Nevada have worked since 2005 developing the Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) under the direction of the Nevada Executive Committee on Traffic Safety (NECTS).
